PAUL FISHELL
Lead Pastor
Paul, along with his wife Jalaine, joined FAR in August 2026. He’s spent his life in several churches as a staff pastor, but also helped plant churches in Harrisonville, MO & Kansas City. As Paul states, “I’ve done a lot of differnet jobs to support my ministry habit!” Whether it’s teaching, coaching or driving, Paul has done it all to facilitate his call!
KEVIN ASHCRAFT
Office Admin & Deacon
Kevin serves in a variety of roles, including being Vice-President of the Leadership Team. He also oversees much of the day-to-day activity of FAR, including media, communications, and finances.
BEN & MICHELLE GEMMER
Worship Ministry & Board Member
Ben serves on our Leadership Team, and along with his wife Michelle lead worship each week. Having grown up in FAR, they’re an integral part of our church!
KIM GEMMER
Board Member & BON Leader
Kim is the secretary for our Leadership Team and is also the heart behind our main outreach ministry, Brightness Of Noon. BON ministers to the area homeless community, and Kim’s passion drives the ministry.
BEN WEISS
Deacon
Ben has been a part of FAR since 1983! He’s been part of FAR leadership for several decades and provides valuable wisdom and insight! Ben’s experience as a sound engineer comes in handy, as he runs the in-house sound every Sunday.
BILL HOWARD
Deacon
Bill not only sings on our worship team but also teaches adult bible study every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. He’s a gifted teacher with a heart for discipleship!
